Our Clinical Approach to Ayurveda

Dr Bhattathiri’s method is founded on the original Ayurvedic medical texts, Ayurvedic pharmacology and modern human physiology.

Step 1 – Diagnosis

Your first step consists of an initial Ayurvedic medical consultation with Dr Bhattathiri, in order to diagnose the root cause of your condition and determine the most suitable course of treatment, based on your unique constitution and circumstances.

The consultation is non-invasive and comprises a detailed set of questions, coupled with additional Ayurvedic diagnostic techniques (e.g. pulse examination, local external examination) and the analysis of any available tests or scans you may have.

Step 2 – Treatment and Follow up

Based on the diagnosis, Dr Bhattathiri will discuss with you and recommend an individualised course of treatment.

The treatment is likely to include a combination of targeted Ayurvedic treatments (e.g. massage based, detoxification, and Panchakarma), herbal supplements and formulations, as well as nutrition and life-style adjustments.

Step 3 – Sustaining results

As your body and mind respond to your Ayurvedic treatment, the focus of your health journey will gradually shift towards embedding the necessary Ayurvedic health practices in your day-to-day life, so that you can sustain the results you have achieved.

In addition to specific post-treatment clinical advice, Dr Bhattathiri will support you in creating and putting into action a realistic and sustainable ongoing health plan, so that you can continue to benefit from your improved health.
